Lemur Art Ltd. is sponsored by Lemur Conservation Foundation (LCF). The Foundation maintains that art is one of the greatest vehicles for conservation because it touches us emotionally and that without feeling strongly about losing the world around us, we humans will never really act on its behalf.

The art here offered is selected from the LCF’s art collection, much of it on display in the Mianatra Center for Lemur Studies on the Myakka City Lemur Reserve in Florida.

The LCF art collection has grown through the spectacular generosity of artists who have contributed works to further LCF’s mission to promote information about endangered lemurs and to support the Foundation’s efforts to help them survive into the future.
